Important Announcements!

  • Sportsbackers and their Active Warrior Program

Lay Minister Barbara Rogers is participating in the training to become a Warrior! For more information, please contact Lay Minister B. Rogers. They are accepting agreements for churches to become a host site for the program, which provides an instructor, to come out to your church weekly and facilitate a group exercise class to include a chair exercise class for mature adults!
Sportsbackers provides liability insurance for the instructors they send that eliminates any negative impact to you and we will also provide an additional waiver specific for your church should you choose to become a host site.

These classes are being provided free of charge so it’s an excellent opportunity to start a new program at your church or add on to your other health programs.

  • Diabetes Workshops

St. Philip’s will be hosting workshops starting in September.  Please contact Pamela D. Price, 804-644-2256, about your church/community to get people to sign up. Please follow up, if you have any questions regarding the workshops.
Please contact Mrs. Jennifer via email at jennylrja@yahoo.com. Please respond to her directly with your questions.
